Turtle Enjoyment

Sometimes on a nature walk in the woods you might come across a box turtle.

 You might help it across the path a little more quickly than it could manage on its own. 

Other times you might be on a walk with your dear neighbor after a reading lesson, and you might find another turtle!  And this one you bring home!

 You observe it in a tank for a little bit.  But mostly what you notice is how cramped it looks!

 So you ask your little brother if you can use his kiddie pool to make a better habitat.

Ahh! much better!

Now everyone is happy!

And it's always fun to take the turtle out for walks! 

We kept turtle (Named: Boxcar, Zippy, Wrinkles, & Tomato depending on whom you are talking to) for a little while and then released him where he belonged.  It was fun to observe him up close!
