Hummingbird First Sighting Narration

For Easter we got a big basket and it had an Audubon bird for each of us, (except my little brother, he got a Bullfrog) and gummy worms and malted eggs. I got a stuffed hummingbird that makes hummingbird noise when squeezed and there was also a hummingbird feeder that hangs on the window.   

I couldn't wait to see the hummingbirds. Then in late April they came! 

Here's how I saw the first hummingbird: I was in our room with my sister and we had the window open, and on the ground by our window there was a big bush with white blossoms on it.  I heard a humming noise! Then I heard its chirping. And then I saw the hummingbird!  I was so excited. I ran to the living room where my brother was, and we had the feeder that stuck to our window, and my brother said "I saw the hummingbird earlier!" then I ran to my little brother's room where my mom was putting him down for a nap. I told them about the hummingbird, so my brother got out of his bed and they went to the window and we all saw the hummingbird together! It was very, very exciting!  After that I kept looking and looking for them.

And so I wanted a hummingbird feeder that stuck to my bedroom window and I got one. Usually the humming bird would go to the feeder in the living room window, then on to our bedroom feeder. But we had to take them both down because the female Oriole kept landing on them and pecking at our windows.  And now we two males and two female hummingbirds! I think they have already made their nests and their babies have probably already hatched.
